Our Estancia

Barn

This working barn is home to nine champion polo horses born and bred in Argentina. Saddles, polo mallets and the sweet smell of hay will greet you upon entering the tack room on the ground level. Take the stairs up to the barn’s refitted one-bedroom apartment, and impressive dining room with stunning views of our Estancia’s polo field and beyond. This package makes a fantastic grooms quarters, or alternatively can be used as an intimate space for your rehearsal dinner or during your reception. The barn accommodates 60 people or a sit down dinner of 45.

White House

The traditional white house is nestled among rows of soaring oak trees and Spanish moss making it the perfect backdrop for those seeking a classic aesthetic. This vintage home has three bedrooms and six bathrooms, ideal for bridal party prep and photos beforehand. Equipped with a functional kitchen and a tempting “cocktail hour” pool in the backyard, the white house can also be rented for overnight use and comfortably sleeps 7 people. Although guests are free to use the restrooms and walk through the historic home, the inside is not available for ceremony or reception use.

Sand Island

Wander across grassy meadows and take a secret trail through the bayou that ends at our sand island. The sand island venue is an alluring, romantic bayou backdrop that is filled with all of the natural wonder that Louisiana has to offer. This enchanting area can accommodate up to 100 people. The sand island comes as an additional package.

Hangar

The airstrip and hangar at Garrett Field date back to 1960, however, recent refurbishing has transformed the hangar into a distinct pavilion that can accommodate up to 150 people. Surrounded by towering oaks and a verdant courtyard, effortless and elegant design details make this structure unique. Stained glass, factory windows, skylights, chandeliers, pergolas, and a variety of rich textures make this glowing structure a new hallmark of the property.

Polo Field

Expansive green space, grazing horses, and enchanting views of the Garrett Field Estancia, the Polo Field is our most flexible venue ideal for larger parties. Our open fields provide plenty of room for your party to spread out and enjoy everything Garrett Field has to offer, including our newly constructed alfresco stone fire pit and the cantina bar area. The polo field can accommodate upwards of 1,000 people.
